Los Angeles attorney Steven L. Martin is the founder and principal lawyer at the Law Offices of Steven L. Martin, serving individuals and businesses throughout Southern California with thoughtful, effective representation in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, real estate litigation, construction litigation, business litigation, and consumer fraud.
Mr. Martin is a veteran of the courtroom. He cut his legal teeth in trial working for the city attorney’s office, where he spent his days trying cases back to back in the criminal court downtown. That early experience has served him well through his decades as a civil litigator handling everything from automobile accidents to real property title disputes.
Mr. Martin obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, in 1974. In 1977, he earned his Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in San Francisco, California. He was admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in California that same year. Since 1991, Mr. Martin has served as a Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court, and since 1992 he has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Municipal Courts.
Mr. Martin cares about his clients and works diligently to find creative solutions to their legal needs. Unlike some attorneys who tend to make issues more complex than really necessary, Mr. Martin seeks to resolve problems and obtain a successful result in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
